CAMBODIA: National Elections 2013 Despite the number of irregularities – such as fake indelible ink and unregistered voters, reported by human rights organizations and international observers, on July 28th 2013, Cambodia saw its National Elections. Hours after the polls closed, riots erupted in Phnom Penh.
Different kinds of ‘indelible’ ink were used at different voting stations. Voters complained the purple ink came off easily after washing it off.
